We have been named as an Apple Regional Training Centre for Kent and Bexley
The Woodland Academy Trust is excited to announce that it has been recognised as an Apple Regional Training Centre for 2022–2023.
The Woodland Academy Trust have been integrating Apple technology into every aspect of teaching and learning. Our students can now access the curriculum in a way that supports them individually and no student is left behind.
Being selected as an Apple Regional Training Centre highlights our commitment to facilitating training for teachers to develop skills and build confidence to use Apple technology in the classroom.
Daniel Davies, the Assistant Headteacher Digital Development Lead for the Trust and manager of the Kent and Bexley RTC says, “We are thrilled to have been recognised in this way and are very excited to be able to offer support to other educational settings in our community through the Regional Training Centre.”
Apple Regional Training Centres create a community to share best practice and support teaching staff to attain Apple Teacher status, a professional learning programme designed to support and celebrate educators. Education staff from across Kent and Bexley can attend courses to build knowledge and skills and earn badges to achieve Apple Teacher recognition.
Our Kent and Bexley RTC is offering customised courses for 2022- 2023 through their centre which include Universal Design for Learning, Accessibility Features and Technology in Early Years.
