We’re an Edtech50 School! National Award Recognition
We’re incredibly proud to announce that Peareswood Primary School has been recognised as one of the Edtech 50 Schools 2025 by Edtech UK and The Education Foundation!
This national recognition, supported by Intel, celebrates schools across England that are using technology in innovative, purposeful ways to enhance teaching and learning – and most importantly, to improve outcomes and engagement for all learners.
At Peareswood, our approach to digital learning is rooted in inclusion, dignity and equity. Whether it’s using AI to support teacher workload, enhancing accessibility for learners with additional needs, or embedding digital fluency into everyday practice, this award is a testament to the commitment and passion of our whole school and Trust
community.
We’re proud to be a forward-thinking Trust where technology is used meaningfully – not as a bolt-on, but as a driver for excellence and equity.
Carla Ferla, Headteacher, is delighted:
“I am incredibly proud for Peareswood to have received this national recognition for our work with education technology. This is a significant achievement that highlights the purposeful and creative ways we use technology across our school to enhance the quality of education for our children.
Our children understand how to use it meaningfully, and our staff continue to find innovative ways to integrate it into the curriculum.”
Julie Carson, Director of Education for Woodland Academy Trust, shares:
“It is a real achievement and recognises purposeful and imaginative use of technology at Peareswood and the wider Trust. This national award, comes at the end of term and really celebrates the work across the school year as we develop our use of technology across all our schools to support teaching and learning.”
